Feedback on some RA Warrior Builds?
These are some Warrior builds that I have used in RA, and they did me good. But, it is RA, so I would like some feedback.
Sword Swordsmanship 12+1+1 Stregnth 12+1 Full Seninials with Vigor Runes. [crippling slash][gash][final thrust][lions comfort][enraging charge][flail][resurrection signet] Axe Axe Mastery 12+1+1 Stregnth 12+1 Full Seninials with Vigor Runes. [eviscerate][axe rake][axe twist][power attack][enraging charge][flail][lions comfort][resurrection signet] Hammer Hammer Mastery 12+1+1 Stregnth 12+1 Full Seninials with Vigor Runes. [devestating hammer][crushing blow][heavy blow][power attack][enraging charge][flail][lions comfort][resurrection signet] |

First & Second Build: Change [Flail] and [Enraging Charge] for [Frenzy] and [Rush]
Third Build: 12+1+1 Strenght, 12+1 HM, so you can get the +4 adrenaline breakpoint of Enraging. And I would change [Power Attack] for [Bull's Strike] |

Wtf, don't run [Frenzy] and [Rush] what happens if you frenzy and your attack gets blocked, you get blinded, hexed, etc...

I prefer frenzy and sprint, but you need a cancel stance of some kind. Plus with an IMS you can catch up to a kiter to use bulls strike.

What is the advantage of using [frenzy] and [rush] over [flail] and [enraging charge]? Never understood that, so I never used

Frenzy doesn't slow you down, allowing you to keep smashing stuff, even if your targets kite a little bit (don't chase if you don't have to, time running is time spent not hitting, not to mention that you should change targets regularly anyway) you won't fall behind. Also, Rush is there when you need it (4 adr will take ~3.44 seconds to charge), as opposed to every 20 seconds.

I agree that [frenzy] and [rush] are a good combo for sword and axe builds. However, [enraging charge] and [flail] are good alternatives for KD Hammer build.

Frenzy can be activated on the spot and Rush is a good cancel stance because of its low adren cost. Flail cannot be canceled until you use enraging charge, which could be a while. Melee that are slow in movement are quite useless. Basically Frenzy and Rush gives speed and IAS more reliantly than Flail and Enraging charge. Frenzy and Rush are not easy to use and requires some skill and experience to get used to. Using Frenzy like water without charging Rush is suicide. Make good judgment calls on when to activate Frenzy and Rush. This is the difference between a decent warrior from a great warrior. |
